Apricot Moorings

Nostalgia always hits me on the way home from the airport after saying goodbye to my wee precious Grandcrumbs... the inspiration for this painting was on one such evening as the sun was setting and the warmth of the afternoon gave way to beauty in the skies which reflected so magically off the moored sailboats and the surface of the bay. It was a moment I just had to capture and hold.
